Custom Made Gown: T & C's
When you book the services for a Denise Wright Bridal bespoke gown, a 35% deposit is required within 7 days of the confirmation letter you receive. You will also need to confirm by email that you have received, read and understood the conditions within the confirmation letter and that the DWB copy of the confirmation letter must be signed by you at your first appointment. The deposit secures DWB services and allows the purchase of your fabrics and work commencement on your gown. DWB also require progress payments, which are outlined in the confirmation letter.

Deposit: Your entire deposit is non refundable once work has commenced on your gown or any fabrics, beads, lace or the such have been ordered. If you decide to cancel your booking prior to any work being commenced or your fabrics, etc being ordered, an administration fee of $100.00 will be deducted from your deposit and the remainder will be refunded.

Progress Payments: Progress payments are required during the gown contruction period. The required payments are outlayed in the confirmation letter that each client receives.

Cancellations: if you cancel DWB services, for any reason, during the process of your gown being constructed where progress payments have been made you may either pay the balance and still take the gown (finished) or forfeit payments made thus far, as well as the deposit and forfeit the gown also but not pay the balance.

Postponements: If your wedding is postponed for a period of 12 months or less of the original wedding date in your confirmation letter, your dress fittings will be rescheduled and progress payments are to continue as directed by Denise Wright Bridal and must be finalised prior to pick up. If your wedding is postponed for a period of 12 months or more of the wedding date in your confirmation letter or it is postponed indefinitely, you can either pay the outstanding balance and have your gown completed ready for pick up or you can forfeit the gown and all payments that have been made. Any remaining payments do not have to be made.

Designs: DWB does NOT copy wedding dresses, therefore is no longer using other designer dresses for inspiration. The only custom made wedding dresses will be orginial DWB designs, which are all open to changes, including fabrics if suitable.

Appointments: Your first consultation is free of charge and completely obligation-free.
A non-refundable consultation fee of $20.00 applies to all second and subsequent consultations. This fee is payable at the time of booking each additional appointment and can be paid by direct deposit or credit card.
*If you choose to proceed with DWB and commission a custom-made wedding dress, all consultation fees paid will be credited towards the cost of your gown.
* Valid for 4 weeks from the date of the subsequent appointment.

The $20.00 consultation fee will be forfeited if you:
Fail to attend your second or any subsequent appointment without the required notice; or
Decide not to engage the services of DWB for your custom-made wedding dress.

Consultation fees are only refundable if you cancel your appointment with at least 48 hours' notice.

Please note: Consultation fees apply only to consultation appointments. Once you have commenced your custom gown journey, all scheduled gown fitting appointments are included as part of the custom couture process and do not incur any additional consultation fees.

Off the Rack In Stock Gowns: T & C's
Appointments. Your first appointment to try on our off-the-rack wedding dresses is complimentary and obligation-free and generally lasts between 60 and 90 minutes.

*Any second or subsequent appointment to try on dresses will incur a non-refundable $20.00 appointment fee per visit. This fee is payable at the time of booking by direct deposit or credit card.
If you decide to purchase or order a wedding dress from DWB, all appointment fees paid will be credited towards the cost of your dress.
* Valid for 4 weeks from the date of the subsequent appointment.

The $20.00 appointment fee will be forfeited if you:
Fail to attend your booked appointment.
Cancel with less than 48 hours' notice.
Attend your appointment but decide not to purchase or order a wedding dress.

Appointment fees are only refundable if your appointment is cancelled with at least 48 hours' notice.

Please Note: Appointment fees do not apply to gowns that have already been purchased where the second or subsequent appointment is for a gown fitting.

To secure a gown that is in stock. Wedding gowns $500.00 and over, a deposit of 30% is payable.
Please note: The deposit is calculated on the total of your invoice EG: The invoice includes the dress, *alterations & *accessories (*if applicable)
Wedding gowns $499.00 and under, a deposit of 50% is payable.

If deposit is not paid by or on the due date, DWB reserves the right to return the gown to stock without notice.
Layby is available. Monthly payments are required. Please discuss with DWB.
*Note: Deposit is non-refundable, after a 7 day cooling off period.

If the gown is paid in full and has been left at Denise Wright Bridal studio to be collected at a later date, there is a 7 day cooling off period. After this 7 day period there are no refunds or returns and the gown must be collected within the next 7 to 14 days unless it has been left at the DWB studio for alterations.
If the gown is paid in full and has left the Denise Wright Bridal premises, there are no refunds or returns and there is no cooling off period. So please be 100% sure the gown is for you.

Clearance Dress Terms & Conditions
No returns, refunds or exchanges are accepted on clearance-priced wedding dresses, whether purchased by mail order or at the DWB studio. Please choose carefully.

Clearance gowns are sold as-is and may still require alterations to achieve the best fit. The cost of alterations is not included in the purchase price of the gown and, if required, will be quoted separately.

You are under no obligation to have DWB carry out your alterations. If DWB is unable to undertake your alterations due to current workload or time constraints, we are happy to recommend experienced alteration specialists.

All gowns are bought as is. DWB tries to keep each gown as pristine as possible, however some may have marks from being tried on. This is why DWB gives a discount on all full priced stock sample dresses.

A 50% deposit is required before your gown can be ordered. Once your gown has been ordered with the manufacturer, the deposit becomes non-refundable.

Once DWB has placed your order with the manufacturer, no returns, refunds or exchanges can be accepted for any reason, as the gown cannot be returned to the manufacturer. Please choose carefully and ensure you are completely happy with your selection before placing your order. Your gown is generally ordered within one to two business days after your deposit has cleared.

Wedding gowns may still require alterations to achieve the best fit. The cost of alterations is not included in the purchase price of your gown and, if required, will be quoted separately.

While every effort is made to ensure consistency, Denise Wright Bridal cannot guarantee that the fabric dye lot or lace placement, etc of your ordered gown will be an exact match to the sample gown in the studio.

Please allow a minimum of 24 weeks from the date your deposit is received for your gown to arrive, plus an additional 8 weeks for alterations. DWB does not offer a rush-order service.
